COVID-19 Virus Measures, March 2020

As you are likely aware, our world is experiencing an unprecedented event with the global spread of COVID-19. With the increase in cases of this virus, it is understandable that it is on everyone’s mind. We want to reassure you that we, as a team, are taking a proactive approach to this situation, as the health and safety of every person in our community and beyond is our top priority.

Effective immediately we will be closing our showroom location.

The majority of our staff are working to service our online store from home, via Live Chat, email and phone.  We are able to help any customers Canada wide and will ship for free as long as we can.

Below are some of the precautionary measures Resthouse is taking to protect themselves, and others, and to help prevent the spread of infection within our community. These measures include:

- Having shipping staff actively wash hands often with soap and hot water/antiviral solution before and after packaging your online orders.

-For White Glove Delivery Service, staff will be wearing biodegradable gloves and washing hands before and after each delivery. At this time, we will be dropping off items to your door (with no removal of old mattresses) and providing you with assembly instructions, as well as the link address below to a video for Obasan/Irusu mattresses. We are also available to help guide you via FaceTime, or Messenger video conferencing if needed.

-Staff is working from home until further notice.

Please note that our suppliers have sent us memos on their protocols, which are very much the same as listed above. We have added a function on our website to show what is available and in stock.  If not in stock we will still be ordering with an extended lead time of 4-8 weeks.

As this is an ever-evolving situation, should anything change, further communication will follow. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

On behalf of everyone at Resthouse, we hope that everyone in your life stays healthy, and that we'll all be back to our usual day-to-day soon.
