Rainforest Alliance certifies Vita Talalay for it's biodiversity conservation, improved livelihoods and human well-being, natural resource conservation, and effective planning and farm-management systems.

Resthouse Sleep Solutions mattress and bedding supplier, Savvy Rest, has achieved GREENGUARD GOLD Certification for their organic mattresses, pillows, and mattress toppers.

Resthouse's supplier, Savvy Rest, has achieved GREENGUARD GOLD Certification for their organic mattresses, pillows, and mattress toppers. GREENGUARD-Certified products must meet stringent standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air. GOLD-level certification includes additional requirements for vulnerable populations, such as children and the elderly.

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard certified

Oregon Tilth certifies Savvy Rest's organic wool supplier and also has certified their manufacturing facility according to the GOTS standard.

Oregon Tilth is the most-respected certifier of organic materials in the United States. Oregon Tilth certifies Savvy Rest's organic wool supplier and also has certified their manufacturing facility according to the GOTS standard.

Savvy Rest's Dunlop latex supplier's rubber tree farms are certified organic to U.S. standards.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) sets legal standards for the term “organic” through the National Organic Program (NOP). Savvy Rest's Dunlop latex supplier's rubber tree farms are certified organic to U.S. standards. Their latex foam processing is certified by the International Control Union to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).

Cradle to Cradle GOLD Certification

Radium Foam, Savvy Rest's natural Talalay latex supplier, works with the Environmental Protection Encouragement Agency (EPEA) to achieve eco-efficacy with the Cradle-to-Cradle philosophy, which evaluates products according to health impact, materials re-use, renewable energy, water stewardship, and social fairness. Savvy Rest's natural Talalay has achieved Cradle-to-Cradle GOLD certification.

Naturepedic

The GREENGUARD Certification Program℠ is a third-party testing program for emissions from consumer products and materials. GREENGUARD tests for criteria based on industry and governmental standards. All Naturepedic products are certified to the UL/GREENGUARD Gold Certification standard. 

GOTS - Global Organic Textile Standard certified
All Naturepedic mattresses meet the organic and non-toxic standards of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recognizes GOTS as the standard for organic consumer goods.
Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS).

Naturepedic products are made without genetically engineered ingredients. We are verified non-GMO through independent review, in addition to compliance with the Global Organic Textile Standard.

The Organic Exchange Certification Program ensures proper tracking of organic material from its source to the finished product. Naturepedic is certified to meet this standard, demonstrating that the organic fiber in our products has been independently verified.

All Naturepedic products have been validated by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Environment Certification Program to meet the UL formaldehyde-free standard. UL develops a variety of standards to measure and validate performance, environmental health and sustainability.

Holy Lamb Organics

ALL WOOL AND COTTON used at Holy Lamb Organics is IOAS certified. Available at Resthouse, Duncan, BC, Canada

IOAS is a non-profit certification organization dedicated to the integrity of eco label claims in the field of organic and sustainable agriculture, environmental management, social justice and fair trade. They work internationally to assess the competence of organizations providing certification to "sustainability" standards, meaning producers can work in a fair environment and consumers can trust the products bearing these labels and the company's contribution to a more sustainable and fairer world.

IAOS's role is as an independent technical expert. It verifies correct application of the standard and the requirements for certification.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading standard for organic textiles. This organization established comprehensive rules for ecological and socially responsible textile production. A GOTS certification ensures the organic status of textiles from harvesting of raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, and then all the way to labeling in order to provide credible assurance to the consumer.

Oregon Tilth is a nonprofit research and education membership organization dedicateto biologically sound and socially equitable agriculture. Oregon Tilth offers educational events throughout the state of Oregon, and provides organic certification services to organic growers, processors, and handlers internationally.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified is an independent non-profit membership-led organization that sets standards under which forests and companies are certified. Their membership consists of three equally weighted chambers; environmental, economic, and social.

The FSC's mission is to promote environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world's forests through a certification process that involves 10 principles and 57 criteria that apply to FSC-Certified forests around the world.

UC Davis Toxicology Lab Tested California Animal Health & Food Safety Laboratory

UC Davis Toxicology Lab Tested California Animal Health & Food Safety Laboratory - All of the wool they use in manufacturing is tested for heavy metals through fiber sample analysis.

The official report indicates: "No toxic compounds were detected....Growers and ranchers raise sheep relative to organic standards (do not use herbicides, pesticides or growth hormones)."

Element Materials Technology Tested.

Element Materials Technology Tested. All the raw materials at Holy Lamb Organics are required by law to pass a specific Phthalates test (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act CPSIA of 2008). The tests are regularly conducted by this agency.

All toppers and mattresses are also required to the cigarette burn test 1633. Verification is printed on all sewn-in product labels: "This Product Complies with the Federal Flammability Standard 16 CFR part 1632".

OEKO-TEX® Association The OEKO-TEX® Association provides manufacturers in the textile and clothing industry with a uniform benchmark on a scientific basis for the evaluation of potentially harmful substances in textiles.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)

GOTS, or Global Organic Textile Standard, is the leading standard for organic textiles. They certify that glo goods are organic as per the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS is the global standard for organic textiles from harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labeling.

The Fairtrade Certification Mark on glo products is your independent guarantee that the cotton in this product has been certified in accordance with international Fairtrade Standards. The purchase of this product made with Fairtrade Certified Cotton enables the improvement of working and living conditions of Cotton Producers in developing countries and encourages environmental protection.
